From a young age, I have had an aptitude for business and an insatiable thirst for knowing and learning everything I possibly could on the subject. Consequently, I commenced attending meetings as a compliant observer as I was captivated by the functioning of a business, the deliberations, the operational aspects as well as client management. Over the years, I have done several internships which have really made me recognize my passion and the kind of environment I want to grow up and live in.

I interned with e-care India in early July in 2019 for a period of 21 days. It is one of the leading medical billing companies in India that provides complete medical billing solutions and coding services. I worked with Human resources, where my role was to cold call prospective candidates, schedule interviews with them and follow up on schedules. I scheduled several interviews and closed 4 requirements assigned to me. Throughout this process, I was learnt key skills in areas such as employee recruitment, selection, training, performance appraisal and motivation strategies.

One of the most remarkable and worthwhile internships of my life, my journey with Olympia began in 2019. It is one of South India’s leading developers which has been leading the real estate market in Kolkata, Chennai and Bangalore. As part of my first project with them, I visited several malls in Chennai, analyzed them and understood how they’ve implemented the concepts of zoning, strategies they use to boost mall traffic and challenges they face in today’s world. I wrote a project report on, “Understanding of the retail industry with focus on emerging trends in Shopping cum Retail Mall Developments.” Which included an analysis of the malls in Chennai as well as solutions to the problems they were encountering. As part of my second project with them, I visited an amazon sorting center, where I experienced world class technology that perform end to end sorting of packages and gained an understanding of the various processes involved in a sorting center and how to determine the perfect location for one. At the end of this process, I wrote a project report on my understanding of the sorting center and best practices to implement for effective and efficient running of the sorting center.
