Description

I initially started running long distances because of boxing training, however over time, I really started enjoying running as a sport itself. Every weekend I used to go for long jogs with my friends to Marina beach, only to return after sunset. After a few months of this fun and hectic routine underway, I decided to participate in marathons. To my astonishment, I was running 5km in under 20 minutes at the age of 16. Noticing and cherishing the benefits of running in myself, a thought occurred to me why not start a running club in my community and take all the elderly people and kids my age for a jog. We do this every Sunday’s for 30 minutes and it is a great time for everyone to unwind, enjoy the mesmerizing scenery and just relax. My current goal is to participate in the Tata Mumbai marathon, an international marathon conducted in Mumbai - one of Asia’s largest and place in the 5km category.
